100% patented Ahimsa silk (Peace Silk)
In the production of Ahimsa silk, the caterpillars are not killed but are allowed to leave the cocoon after maturation. This process tears the silk cocoon. This can result in the fabric containing natural impurities and knots. This makes the fabric stronger and less smooth than mulberry silk. For our hair turbans, we use undyed and unbleached natural silk.

Weiter wichtige Aminosäuren der Seide:
- Glycin (ca. 45 %) – fördert weiche, geschmeidige Haut und hilft, Feuchtigkeit länger zu speichern.
- Alanin (ca. 30 %) – wirkt glättend, ausgleichend und unterstützt empfindliche Haut.
Weil diese Aminosäuren dem Aufbau unserer Haut so ähnlich sind, kann Seide:
- Reizungen reduzieren und empfindliche Haut beruhigen,
- Feuchtigkeitsverlust verhindern,
- Reibung minimieren und so Rötungen vorbeugen,
- die Hautschutzbarriere stärken – ganz natürlich und ohne Zusatzstoffe.
Das Ergebnis: eine glattere, ausgeglichene und gesünder wirkende Haut – spürbar ab der ersten Berührung.
